Recorded at Rockfield Studio in Monmouth, Wales in August 1980, this new 5 piece band were to produce one of the most iconic albums of the 80s

The front and back cover of this album are photographs taken from the monitor during the filming of the Kings of the Wild Frontier video in early August 1980

How official the release of the Kings album in Israel was is open to debate as the album details CBS catalogue numbers, but the disc features the US Epic label.
The inner lyric sleeve is a direct copy of the United States issue and has the lyrics to Press Darlings and Physical even though they are not featured on this version of the album. The lyric sheet has been printed in Israel as is detailed (see image below)
